Demeter the Maned Wolf-Dog

This is the relaunched version of my own Sonic fancharacter Demeter the Dog, rebranded Demeter the Maned Wolf-Dog after wolf-dogs became well-known through the legendary Balto story which was adapted to a runaway hit 1995 animated film by Steven Spielberg's Amblimation (now DreamWorks Animation SKG, the house Shrek, Alex, Po and Toothless built). The idea of recreating, reimagining and/or redefining my Sonic fancharacters popped from the common way of remodeling famed characters from multimedia - remember that our greatest cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants was born to Stephen Hillenburg as a realistic sea sponge and later redefined as an anthropomorphic sea sponge to star his hit TV cartoon. This was the same case as widely famed Sony Playstation's former semi-official mascot Crash Bandicoot which was born to the Naughty Dog house as Willy the Wombat only to be recreated as the bandicoot we all know very well and love so bad who loves cracking crates to collect surprises. Peter and Brian from Family Guy also debuted as Larry and Steve who looked different from what kind of greatest cartoon characters they would be.

In her new appearance, Demeter now spots a golden mane, her short, black shoes designed like true-Sonic, her tail is bigger as Tails', her age 15 is written on her shirt, and her ear's entrance in the cap is more visible than ever. She also spots black tattoos in her arms. I chose to recreate Demeter as a maned wolf-dog NOT only because maned wolves are the awesome wild dogs as the dingoes, but also to homage my country of origin which is Brazil since maned wolves can easily be spotted on Brazil.
