Remember... by dudiho Remember... by dudiho
I was very saddened by the fact Steve Jobs died yesterday... :( He was the most talented and creative inventor and, the best, the founder of famed Pixar Animation Studios as he purchased the studio from Lucasfilm Ltd., subsequently becoming the famed shareholder of The Walt Disney Company after Disney bought Pixar in 2006. He was also the inventor of iPod, iTouch, iPhone and iPad which have somewhat led to a 3rd Industrial Revolution.

Speaking of which, on December 2nd, my grandmother will bring me from US my own iPad so I can play games, watch videos, surf on the net and read comics anywhere I want without having to buy some comics on internet anymore. This will be a sort of farewell gift Steve Jobs had created before his death. Jobs was also one of the executive producers of the first 1995 Toy Story film which was one of the agents of a new Golden Age of Animation.

This is also a sort of 25th anniversary celebration deviation for Pixar.

There probably is many sad faces in the Mouse House over this... certainly the Pixar guys, probably a lot of the Disney artists that owe their jobs to Lasseter's revitalization, maybe even Mickey himself and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit too! (Because without Pixar coming in, Mickey's career would still be on the skids and Oswald would still be "forgotten".)

Steve Jobs and John Lasseter were fighting to save Walt Disney Animation from creative stagnation.
